Our new location is a convenient, single story facility with free parking located less than a mile from our old location. DR. Ailee Laham Joins Southeastern Retina Associates In Knoxville
SOUTHEASTERN RETINA ASSOCIATES welcome Ailee Laham, MD as the 15th board certified, fellowship trained Retina and Vitreous Surgeon on the physician team. Dr. Laham will primarily serve our Knoxville market locations, including offices in Knoxville, Powell, Morristown, Sevierville, and Crossville. After receiving his BS degree at Miami University, Ohio, he attended Medical School at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He later did an Internal Medicine internship at The Christ Hospital. Dr. Laham’s two-year Vitreoretinal Surgical Fellowship was at the University of Pittsburgh where he also served as an Ophthalmic Hospitalist. His Ophthalmology Residency was completed at the University of Cincinnati Department of Ophthalmology. “Dr. Laham is a fantastic addition to our Knoxville market. Dr. Cummings Shares The Latest Clinical Trial Results from Diabetic Retinopathy Clinical Research Network
As part of Dr. Cummings’ presentation on diabetic eye disease, he shared the results of the latest clinical trial from the Diabetic Retinopathy Clinical Research Network (DRCR). The DRCR.net is funded by the National Eye Institute (NEI). The NEI is a part of the National Institutes of Health, which is the branch of government that funds medical research. Southeastern Retina is one of the110 participating sites (offices) with over 400 physicians throughout the United States.
